Was it Edmund Burke who said “the only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”? Sadly, this adage doesn’t apply to western leaders or the journalists in big titles which can’t admit to a ‘mea culpa’ on Douma chemical attacks.

The Duran’s Alex Christoforou and Editor-in-Chief Alexander Mercouris discuss an explosive report that documents how a second whistleblower from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) has come now come forward to accuse top officials, under pressure from US officials, of suppressing critical evidence that proves the chemical weapons “attack” in Syria was a false flag meant to push the west towards war with Assad and Syria.

We’re told that The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is supposed to be an unbias and ‘neutral’ international body, with no political or state affiliations that might compromise or influence the findings of its supposedly objective mission.

The head of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has signed an open letter urging his own watchdog to give two whistleblowers a platform at its next conference. They claim the #OPCW suppressed evidence when conducting a probe into an alleged #chemicalattack on the Syrian city of #Douma in April 2018.

Douma, Syria, April 2018. Dozens of people die in a suspected chemical weapons attack in the eastern suburb of the capital Damascus. The United States and many European countries immediately identify President Bashar al-Assad as responsible for the attacks, and respond with deadly violence of their own, starting a bombing campaign against his forces.

The revelations – studiously ignored by the mainstream media – shed a light on the tangled web weaved by the complicit media and the West’s shameless hypocrisy, involving the OPCW, Wikileaks and Julian Assange’s illegal detention.
