US President Donald Trump has lost no time intervening in the row over the leaking – almost certainly by someone within the FBI – of classified information about the Manchester terror attack, in a manner which has outraged the British.
Brits have been struggling to figure out how their government dropped the ball and failed to prevent the Manchester suicide bombing when the attacker was already on their radar, but what many people are overlooking is the “politically incorrect” fact that it should have been obvious from the first day that the bomber’s family set foot in the UK that they’d end up being trouble. Lost amidst the flurry of media reports about this tragic incident is that the attacker’s family arrived on British soil as Libyan “refugees” decades before the 2011 NATO war devastated their country.
More and more information is emerging on how the savage terrorist atrocity recently committed in Manchester was a classic case of terrorist blow-back, a phenomenon describing how when western governments fund, arm and aid terrorists, they often come back to commit horrific crimes against the citizens of the countries which funded and aided them.
(MPN) Following the recent Daesh (ISIS)-linked terror attack in Manchester, England, United Kingdom Prime Minister Theresa May raised the country’s terror threat level to critical, the first time it has been raised to that level since 2007.
A few weeks ago, shortly after US President Trump met with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov in the Oval Office of the White House, the Washington Post ran a story about how Trump supposedly leaked classified intelligence about an ISIS plot to use laptops to bring down civilian airplanes during this meeting to Lavrov.
Supposedly the leak compromised intelligence information provided to the US by a third country, potentially damaging the US’s intelligence relationship with that country.
The British authorities have clearly indicated that they believe that Salman Abedi, the suicide bomber responsible for the Manchester terror attack, was part of an ISIS terrorist cell and was not acting alone.
Five people have already been arrested for possible links to Abedi, and Ian Hopkins, the chief constable of Greater Manchester Police, has publicly confirmed that the police believe Abedi was operating as a member of a terrorist cell.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement today condemning last night’s suicide attack at a music concert in Manchester, Britain, saying it underscores the need for a “comprehensive” approach to eliminating terrorism worldwide.
Following the March 2017 Westminster terrorist attack, YouGov ran a survey that showed nine in ten British citizens think further terror attacks are likely.
With the attack in Manchester Arena, those predications came true.
What makes ISIS’s latest attack – on young people happily enjoying a concert in Manchester – look particularly sinister is not just the deliberately indiscriminate nature of this attack. Unfortunately that is the pattern of all of ISIS’s terrorist attacks.
Rather it is the fact that unlike some of the other attacks carried out across Europe by individuals on behalf of ISIS, this attack looks planned, and was almost certainly ordered by ISIS’s leadership.
Last night, a deadly and tragic terrorist attack claimed the lives of 22 people, many who were very young, at Britain’s Manchester Arena. Over 59 are currently reported injured. These numbers may yet rise.
The attack was almost certainly ISIS inspired as it had all the hallmarks of such an attack. For those mourning the dead, whether it was a direct ‘order’ given from Raqqa or more likely a crazed ISIS inspired fanatic with a home-made explosive, this devilish detail will matter little.
Police say that the attack was carried out by a lone suicide bomber.
