If an ordinary person had a penny for every time a western politician spoke about the pressing need to ‘combat international terrorism’, that ordinary person could likely afford to live in the kind of highly secure housing that generally affords protection against terrorism.
In reality, people around the world are increasingly subject to the kind of Salafist terrorism that the west has spent decades cultivating, funding, arming and politically supporting.

Mark Collett is a British political activist and the author of The Fall of Western Man. He has been politically active since his late teens and was formerly the Youth Leader and Head of Publicity for the British National Party. In 2004 he was arrested for several speeches he made and in 2006 was tried and found not guilty on all counts. When a British Prime Minister three days before a general election faces a call to resign, and the opposition leader who makes the call is not heaped with ridicule by the whole country and the media, then something for that Prime Minister has gone seriously wrong.  That is the situation Theresa May faces today.
The proximate cause is the London terror attack, with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn criticising Prime Minister for cutting police numbers whilst Home Secretary despite the rising threat from ISIS, and claiming that this has exposed Britain to terrorist attacks.

The current and possibly outgoing British Prime Minister thinks that old fashioned East German style censorship will somehow prevent terrorism.

The drink soaked expensive private members clubs of London are generally home of the UK Conservative party’s ageing but still prominent base. Here, people congregate and wax prosaically about their travels to countries lik East Germany and Ceaușescu’s Romania . They speak negatively about censorship, unnecessary bureaucracy, an intimidating Stasi and a total lack of political opposition.

UPDATE: People are reporting either 2 or 3 separate attacks. There is confusion over whether the van attack in London Bridge and an alleged related stabbing incident nearby are part of a larger terrorist atrocity.
More than one fatality has been reported.
Now another incident in another part of London, Vauxhall has been reported.
RT reports that a manhunt is under way for terrorists with weapons, still on the loose.
Initial came in that a man ploughed a van into a crowd of people in the crowded London Bridge area of the UK capital.
