WATCH: American Cop Denied Entry into British Nightclub After Flashing Badge and Demanding Blue Privilege

A man claiming to be an American law enforcement officer tried to use his badge to get into a nightclub through a back door in the United Kingdom in the early hours of New Year’s Day, threatening to have the doorman fired if he did not comply with his demands.
But the doorman was not intimidated, ordering the American to use the front door like everybody else.
Obviously, Blue Privilege is not as respected in England as it is in the United States.

Louisiana Jailer Sued for Sexually Abusing Juvenile Inmate, Threatening to Harm Mother for Refusing to Obey

A Louisiana jailer has been sued for repeatedly sexually abusing a 15-year-old inmate and threatening to harm her mother if she didn’t obey his commands.
During the girl’s seven month stint in the juvenile tier of the St. Bernard Parish Juvenile Detention Center, Deputy Eddie Williams subjected her to constant harassment, ordering her to disrobe and masturbate in certain places so he could view video of her via the jail’s remote security camera.

Oregon Cop Appealing Citation for Driving into Doughnut Shop

An Oregon cop who ran a red light and struck a pedestrian before driving his patrol car into a doughnut shop earlier this year was found to have violated department policy and state law.
But Bend Police Corporal Robert Emerson is an award-winning officer, which means he only had to pay a $260 fine for a traffic signal violation.
And he is appealing that, according to KTAU:

Ohio Cop Not Charged After 2-Year-Old Son Fatally Shoots Himself in Head With Department-Issued Gun

An Ohio cop has not been charged with a crime after his two-year-old son somehow got a hold of his department-issued gun and fatally shot himself in the head Thursday morning.
Cleveland police have identified the cop as Jose “Tony” Pedro, a 54-year-old cop on the force since 1993, but have not stated how the shooting occurred.
They are calling it an “accidental shooting” instead of an act of negligence by having left the gun within reach of the toddler.

A Baton Rouge police officer was cleared of any wrongdoing for striking a restrained 16-year-old boy several times in the head at the city’s annual Earth Day event in an incident caught on video last April.
 
The department found there was “insufficient evidence” to support a complaint against Sergeant Todd Bourgoyne in the beating of Ja’Colby Davis, according to the Baton Rouge Advocate.

Baltimore Cops Commended for Shooting Mentally Ill Suspect After Body Cam Footage Released

Two Baltimore cops who shot a mentally ill man as he wielded knives and a cane on Friday were commended by their police union president.
“We support Officers Jones and Brown and commend them on their actions as they did what was necessary to protect the lives of many others, as well as their own,” said Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 3 President Gene Ryan.
Video footage of the shooting was released on Wednesday after about 30 protesters assembled at the scene of the shooting last week.

Chicago Cop Kills Teen Claiming Teen Pulled Gun on Him, but no Gun has been Found

A Chicago cop said he was in fear for his life when he shot and killed a 19-year-old man Wednesday, claiming the man twice pointed a gun at him as he was running away.
But no gun has been recovered as of Friday.
And the Cook County Medical Examiner confirmed that Kajuan Raye was shot in the back as well as multiple times in the stomach.

Lawsuit Filed Against Iowa Cop who Mistakenly Shot Mother of Three Aiming for Family Dog

The family of an Iowa woman who was fatally shot by a cop trying to kill her family’s dog filed a lawsuit last week.
Autumn Steele, 34, was shot by Burlington cop Jesse Hill on January 6, 2015 as her 3-year-old son stood next to her.
Autumn Steele, 34, died after she was accidentally shot by Burlington cop Jesse Hill, who was trying to shoot her dog.
Hill responded to a domestic disturbance call at the Steel’s residence and discovered the couple having a verbal disagreement.

Pennsylvania Governor Vetoes Bill that Would have Illegalized Release of Names of Cops who Kill in Line of Duty

Pennsylvania politicians tried their best to pass a law making it illegal to release the names of cops who shoot citizens that result in death of “seriously bodily harm” for at least 30 days from the incident or until an investigation is completed.
The bill sailed through both the house and the senate with legislators on both sides of the political spectrum saying it was important to hide the identities of cops who kill for their own safety – even though there has not been any documented cases of killer cops being retaliated against for their actions.
