On Saturday, a man drove into the Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ocala, Florida, before lighting it on fire; the parishioners inside were able to escape without injury. Steven Anthony Shields has been arrested, and he told investigators he has schizophrenia and isn’t taking his medication.

Chick-Fil-A donated $2,500 to the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a group that has targeted Christian organizations. In 2012, shooter Floyd Corkins, who was motivated by the SPLC, planned a massacre the Family Research Council.

The Southern Poverty Law Center has a history of listing Christian churches as “hate groups” and repeatedly has placed the “Singing Nuns” on its hate-group map. The SPLC says “Radical traditionalist” Catholics, may be the largest single group of serious antisemites in America.

A government-funded college in Bristol, England, fired a Christian teacher after a student reported that he was offended by her comments. When the student asked about homosexuality, the teacher said that, as a Christian, she 'personally' believed homosexual activity was against the Lord’s will but that God loves every person regardless of sexual preference.

The Democratic Party has published a list of desired categories for women in office. The list does not include white or Christian. Here is the order of their preferences: Black women, LGBT women, Muslim women, Disabled women, Jewish women, Latina women, Millennial women, Jewish women (listed twice), AAPI (Asian) women, and More women. The Party says the reason white and Christian are not listed is that these already are well represented. Statistically, the listed categories predominantly vote Democrat.
