The United States is not alone in the insanity concerning the efficacy of masks against COVID-19 infection. Here in Moscow, Russia, the pattern has been in place that about every two or three weeks, businesses insist that their patrons wear a mask when entering the store. This applies to grocery stores and shopping center stores alike. In most local shops, the restriction sticks strongly for a few days, and then dies out. The sense is that there are more new cases cropping up in Moscow that the reported numbers, which stubbornly refuse to crack 700 on the high side and 600 on the low side.
The American handling of the coronavirus crisis has been a combination of the best and the worst of our nation. President Trump did an excellent job supporting the nation through this and leading us out of the severe economic and employment problems that the lockdown imposed on citizens in most of the US.
Let us demonstrate some insanity: What would you say if I told you that the CDC is uncertain that masks provide any protection at all from the coronavirus?
Does that sound crazy to you? We finally see President Trump wearing a mask here and there, and his opponents Joe Biden and Kamala Harris look like bad renditions of Old West bandits as they campaign for President (not Vice President, but President and handler).
Activism on Zoom. That is what the Democrat National Committee’s convention looks like. What it carries is radical activism, hate-America-as-founded manifestos and the train of lies by all the usual suspects: Bill and Hillary Clinton, radical pastor Frederick Haynes laying on the guilt trip for not accepting illegal immigrants (future Democrats) and “in the basement” videos of Jill and Joe Biden accepting the nomination of his party.
Remember this piece I wrote a few months back? “The Second Civil War Part III” in which I outlined the rural/urban divide that denotes this conflict? And also how there is no real option other than that the rural side will win, because of one simple truth:
Cities cannot feed themselves.

Seatlle police chief Carmen Best has had enough. After two months of CHAZ, CHOP and nightly riots, aided and abetted by a super-liberal Mayor that only cares about using her city’s suffering to make President Trump look like the problem, the Seatlle City Council passed an ordinance forbidding officers to use “less-than-lethal” ordinance to quell extremely violent rioting that has been taking place in the city.

Tucker Carlson has been on fire especially over the last several weeks. His Fox program, Tucker Carlson Tonight has hit time after time after time with laserlike accuracy against the radical leftism rioting and violence on display all across the United States and even outside the US. His criticism of the people and actions involved has been without hyperbole, though definitely with personal emotion, and it is not off the mark to say that Mr. Carlson has for the time being eclipsed even that great founder of conservative media, Rush Limbaugh.
