Yesterday Kaiser Health released their brand new tracking poll. Among registered voters. 50% said they will vote for a Democrat and 38% said they will vote for a Republican for Congress. In April it was 46% Democrat and 38% Republican. They also broke it out in 2 swing states, Florida and Nevada.

Wednesday night I went to a fundraiser Ted Lieu MC-ed for Randy Bryce and Ammar Campa-Najjar. Ted and both candidates made compelling cases for defeating the Republicans in a couple of weeks. And tens of thousands of dollars were raised for the Randy and Ammar Joint Victory Fund.

In 2016 a shady right-wing SuperPAC, Future 45, spent $24,970,330 smearing Hillary and Bernie. Where did all that sewer money come from? The Adelson's laundered $20,000,000 from their worldwide gambling and prostitution businesses into it, the Ricketts family put in a million and World Wrestling Federation executive Linda McMahon threw in another $1,250,000 (and was rewarded by Trump who made her Administrator of the Small Business Administration).

Bankster by Nancy OhanianI admit, I was one of the people complaining that Congressional Progressive Caucus members didn't spend enough time and energy raising money-- which had a lot to do with why Pelosi didn't take them seriously and wound up helping the New Dems take over the caucus.

Very few voters give a damn about the shitload of crap candidates the DCCC has recruited from coast to coast. The only thing worse than the garbage candidates the DCCC has manufactured-- from ex-CIA spy Abigail Spanberger, who uses Trump talking points in her vomit-inducing anti-immigrant ad, to "ex"-Republican multimillionaires on the West Coast-- are their dreadful Republican opponents.

What could make the anti-red wave bigger and higher? Mitch McConnell. He's already the most despised senator in the whole country but now he's running around salivating over the prospect of destroying Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security, the ultimate, decades-long Republican dream. This is exactly what he and Ryan plotted when they passed the enormous and highly unpopular tax-cut for multimillionaires and billionaires last year.
