Déjà vu 2016: like the surprise election result, President Trump claims another victory over the mainstream media machine and Washington’s political elites – this time laying to rest a two and half year-long political charade and festival of fake news which came to be known as ‘RussiaGate’.
The master plot went something like this: the Russian government interfered in the 2016 U.S. presidential election with the goal of getting Donald Trump elected. After tens of millions spent, hundreds of interviews, and hundreds of thousands of documents produced – the disgraced former FBI director Robert Mueller could not manage to produce any evidence of ‘Trump-Russia Collusion’ – which was the original remit of his epic witch hunt. As failures go, this one is hard to top.
This week, the Senate Intelligence Committee was forced to admit that after 2 and half years of investigations and hearings, there is no evidence of any collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia. The announcement was a devastating blow to Democratic Party operatives and mainstream media outlets who have been pushing official ‘Washington’s Trump-Russia’ conspiracy theory.

It’s becoming all too clear where the global censorship effort is headed. With tech giants now a willing dongle to government, the infrastructure is in place to decide what is ‘foreign interference’ and who will be taken down next. Now, a legal framework to scale it out to the masses is being planned.

The US Senate Intelligence Committee on Wednesday requested that WikiLeaks founder and editor Julian Assange testify on Russian ‘meddling’ in the 2016 election.
The ‘mutually agreed upon time and location’ also comes with the strict condition from Assange’s legal team that “testimony must conform to a high ethical standard,” according to this Wikileaks tweet:
