Billionaire globalist founder of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson expresses his disappointment with the Brexit vote in an interview with David Rubenstein in the latest episode of “The David Rubenstein Show: Peer-to-Peer Conversations”.
Branson told Rubenstein that Brexit is “the saddest thing that’s happened” to Britain and many people were misled.
Branson noted that if another vote were to take place, he believes the ‘stay’ vote would win.
By Philip Giraldi | American Herald Tribune | July 30, 2018 The establishment of a military force to go abroad and overthrow governments does not appear anywhere in the Constitution of the United States, nor does calling for destruction of countries that do not themselves threaten America appear anywhere in Article 2, which describes the […]
So Trump is right, at least on the narrow issue of China being more protectionist. But bad policy by China doesn’t justify bad policy by the United States. Especially when the main victims of Trump’s tariffs will include American consumers, workers, manufacturers, taxpayers, and exporters.

Time is up! All humans, men and women, are guilty as charged! Guilty of abusing other species and the natural world we depend on; guilty, either by greed or ignorance, of abusing other species that sustain our own and driving them to expedient extinction. Wild life, big and small, is briskly moving towards a vanishing point. From the seas to the land and the skies, the global species disappearing act has reached a catastrophic and probably unstoppable momentum.
Britain is on the lookout for who will be its trading partners once it has consummated its divorce from the European Union. British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt traveled to Beijing in order to further develop ties and to try to get the ball rolling on a post Brexit trade arrangement. Not only is Britain looking to find a deal with China, but with each member of the EU, in particular France and Austria while on his current trip to develop trade ties.

The twenty-first century might well see medical innovations that could rid humanity of crippling and deadly illnesses, extending the healthy lifetimes of all by decades. But while the United States has cutting-edge research facilities and experts, its government-approval process for those innovations is as sclerotic and deadly as any bodily ailment. Japan, on the other hand, has adopted the Free To Choose Medicine model for its tissue-based therapies. If Americans are not to find themselves forced to travel to Japan for cures for their illnesses, the U.S.

A new federal program profiles and surveils ordinary US citizen travelers who otherwise have no legitimate reason for being profiled. The biggest irony, as several Air Marshals observed, is that that potentially illegal program which infringes on the privacy and constitutional rights of US citizens, is also being paid for by those very same US citizens. Just like with the NSA. [...]
Border crossers are clogging the asylum system, flooding homeless shelters and are being moved out of college dormitories to make way for students. But Trudeau has a new solution: Move hundreds of immigrants into hotels where they will live at public expense. Canada could halt the illegal crossing with the stroke of a pen- but it won't because it doesn't serve the people, but has a different master. [...]
Why did Donald J Trump sign a bill to tax churches 21%Academic, seminarian and monk, Mike Hertsenstein, shook up the evangelical world this week with a lost passage from an infamous Nixon tape.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez advocates for for free health care, free college tuition, subsidized housing, open borders, tax-supported renewable energy, and a minimum wage for everyone. To fund these programs, she calls for the ultra-wealthy should pay their fair share, and corporations should pay a 28% tax rate, to collect $2 trillion. She is clueless that corporations never pay taxes, because every penny of what they pay is passed on to the consumers of their products and services in the form of higher prices.
Jay Dyer returns to Our Interesting Times to discuss Baby Boomers and his review of Annie Jacobsen's book The Pentagon's Brain: An Uncensored History of DARPA, America's Top-Secret Military Research Agency. We talk about the degree to which Americans born between 1946 and 1964 were subjected to mass media, mind control and psychological warfare and why so many of that generation remain resistant to truth. We then discuss the history of DARPA and the agency's role in constructing the New World Order.
The Kochs are threatening to support Democrats in the midterm if their Republican opponents oppose Open Borders and job-killing 'free trade' deals that benefit multinational corporations. Under pressure from the Kochs, Representative Kevin Yoder (R-KS) and Chairman of the GOP-majority House Appropriations Committee voted in favor of new asylum rules hidden in a Homeland Security spending bill that would give at least 32-million Central Americans the right to migrate to the US.

The United States government has never allowed independent governments in Latin America. Every time people elect a government that represents them instead of US economic interests, Washington overthrows the elected government. Marine General Smedley Butler told us this as have many others. There is no doubt about it.

The other day I received an article from The Guardian in the UK. It was titled “Vladimir Putin’s Russia is a creaking ship. Don’t fall for the propaganda”.
Reading it, I wondered if the writer ever spent any serious time in Russia. I do not mean as a footie tourist, but actually lived, worked and knew in the country. The recently held World Cup was certainly a well thought through showcase event as it would be anywhere in the world.
Russia’s 2017 Naval Doctrine set the goal of building a strong force to enable the country to achieve and hold the leading positions in the world until 2030. And it is already clear that the nation has made a strong comeback as a sea power.
Bill Browder, who benefited enormously from Russian corruption, has expertly repackaged himself as a paragon among businessmen, endearing himself to the Russia-haters in Washington and the media.
Enough about Russia already. If one likes ballet or nineteenth century literature, one could understand having a Russia obsession. Maybe some people have an unusual affinity for snow and cold, having a particular passion for ice hockey or luge. Perhaps then, this could be comprehended. If one trades in commodities, such as gas or wheat or timber, for a living maybe one could be forgiven.

Two Germany broadcasters, ZDF and WDR, are claiming that they have become the victims of a new Russian cyber attack. The attack is being reported as being the work of a Russian hacking group known as ‘Sandworm’. Reports are saying that the attack occurred in June, but has no clue about what the hackers were after, or whether any sensitive information was stolen. Additionally, the ‘Sandworm’ hacking group is also suspected of having ties to the Kremlin, and played a role in the attack on the US DNC servers during the 2016 US Presidential election.

(CJ Opinion) — Last Tuesday a top lawyer for the New York Times named David McCraw warned a room full of judges that the prosecution of Julian Assange for WikiLeaks publications would set a very dangerous precedent which would end up hurting mainstream news media outlets like NYT, the Washington Post, and other outlets which publish secret government documents. “I think the […]
