It has been a while... I have not posted any articles over the last while concerning the ever changing situation in Syria as the Syrian Arabic Army (SAA) and their allied forces have been over the last two weeks on a massive offensive to finally clean up and liberate the entire Idlib pocket of "terrorist" opposition in northwestern Syria...... A report is indeed long overdue...Over the last few days things have been rapidly changing, as the SAA has been moving rapidly now to seize key towns and villages on their way towards the heart of the entire pocket itself which is the key city of Saraqib..... I have explained in previous articles that the seizure of that major centre is of the utmost importance, for it is the key transportation and communications hub for the entire pocket, and gaining that city would cause a breakdown of both transportation and communications by the 'terrorists' between the northern and southern parts of the pocket itself...Well... Now comes the good news, and very much long overdue...For according to the following report from PressTV at www.presstv.com, the SAA has now completely surrounded the key city of Saraqib and has given the "terrorist" defenders of that city a chance to either lay down their weapons and seek reconciliation with the SAA forces by surrendering, or be destroyed... THIS is indeed an absolutely outstanding victory for the SAA and the people of Syria!The facts again are that the topography of the Idlib pocket west of Saraqib is mostly mountainous and with few roads it makes for supply shipments by the "terrorists" from the north to their southern defensive positions much more difficult... Saraqib is therefore indeed the key crossroads and transportation hub for the entire pocket and now that it has been seized by the SAA, the "terrorists" in the southern part of the pocket are basically cut off from resupplies from the north and in danger of total collapse....This again is an outstanding victory and shows once again the resilience of the Syrian nation in its hope to make Syria whole once more.... The question still remains, however, as to what the Turks and even the criminals in the US/Israel/NATO criminal cabal will do to try to stop the SAA from now pushing on towards total victory in Idlib!
