Militants from Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS), formerly known as Jabhat Al-Nusra (Al-Qaeda in Syria), renewed their attacks on Aleppo neighborhoods on Saturday morning, targeting Al-Neel Street and Al-Zahra’a neighborhoods with a number of rocket-propelled grenades that injured a child and caused significant material damage to the locals properties.
At approximately 10 am on Saturday, HTS terrorists targeted two areas of al-Neel Street with two missiles, wounding a child and injuring a large number of properties.
Terrorists also targeted a number of mortar shells in Al-Zahraa neighborhood in the northwest of the city, causing materials damage with no civilians injured.
In the aftermath, the Syrian army responded to the missile sources by targeting the outskirts of Al-Zahraa neighborhood, Al-Rashideen area and the industrial halls of al-Leirmoon with intensive artillery and rocket shelling destroyed a large number of rebels’ rocket launchers and mortars.
The Syrian Army continued its targeting to reach the towns of Anadan, Hreitan and Kafar Hamra village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, causing heavy material losses among HTS gunmen.
It should be noted that most of the northern and western sides of the city of Aleppo are still under the control of armed terrorist organisation,  Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, who had taken control of these areas after fierce battles with gunmen of “Nuor al-Din al-Zenki” of the “National Liberation Front”, as those battles resulted of HTS extending its influence over the entire western countryside of Aleppo to the highway of Aleppo-Damascus in the southwest.
