Catherine Austin Fitts was the managing partner at Dillon Read Investment Bank when she quit her job to serve as Assistant Secretary of Housing in the first Bush administration. Once she went to San Diego where she found that HUD (Housing and Urban Development) had made $20 million in loan guarantees on apartment buildings that did not exist. They did not even have postal addresses. She had to fight the bureaucracy for months to get a look at the books. After seeing them, she concluded the HUD accounting was deliberately confusing so nobody could determine where taxpayer money went.
Catherine was rewarded for her good efforts by being sued and investigated 19 times eventually having to flee Washington as people who suffered from excessive honesty and integrity were not welcome in the nation’s capitol. She has since written and talked about money that has gone missing that was in the billions.
Enter Dr Mark Skidmore. He had worked on budgeting helping states in the Midwest. He said that he once found that someone could not produce a receipt for a $300 item he had bought. So when he heard Catherine say billions were missing from the federal government agencies he assumed she must have meant millions. He and his graduate students in economics at Michigan State looked at federal government websites. They determined that from 1998 to 2015 $21 trillion had gone missing from two agencies, HUD and DOD.
He told a funny story about the DOD. In one year the Army budget was $122 billion. The Treasury Department called up the Army and told them that they had so much missing money that Treasury was going to send them a check for $800 billion. Guess what happened. The $800 billion went missing too.
Enter the Congress. What have they done to find the missing $21 trillion? Absolutely nothing. What have they done to reform accounting procedures? Nothing.
Currently, we spend $12 billion a week on interest payments on federal government debt. In 2028 the total federal government debt is projected to be $40 trillion. At 10% interest that interest payment will be greater than all of our tax revenue including Social Security. Yet the Congress does nothing. If we still had President Lincoln’s non-interest bearing Greenbacks, there would be no national debt and no $4 trillion a year interest payment on that debt ten years or less in the future.
Enter Iran with its Mach 14 IRBM and its 800 mile range unstoppable cruise missile. They have drones that can fire 4 rockets each with deadly accuracy. What does the US have by comparison? We have rockets with half the speed of Iran and inferior cruise missiles. We also have an inferior Patriot Missile system that could not stand up to an attack against the Saudis from Yemen.
Don’t you think we were short changed on the trillions we gave to the Pentagon to defend America?
Enter Oded Yinon. In 1982 he wrote “A Strategy for Israel in the 1980s.” This was the basis for Richard Perle’s 1996 paper A Clean Break: A New Strategy for Securing the Realm which was designed as a policy guide for Israel in the new era. Richard Perle, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, William Kristol, Elliot Abrams, John Bolton, Vin Weber, Jeb Bush, Steve Forbes, Donald Kagan, Scooter Libby, and Paul Wolfowitz were members of PNAC ( Project for a New American Century) which adopted the policies of Yinon and Perle originally designed for Israel’s defense for America.
PNAC had cited the need for a New Pearl Harbor to galvanize public support for their military expansionism. To date the federal government has not shown how World Trade Center Tower 7, a 47 story building, collapsed in just 6.5 seconds despite never having been hit by an airplane.
Hint: In the video below Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld admitted on September 10, 2001 that the DOD had spent $2.3 trillion but he had no idea due to poor accounting just exactly where the money went. This is similar to the “cook the books” experience of Catherine Austin Fitts at HUD. Note that on the morning of September 11th that a supposedly hijacked plane was heading directly at Rumsfeld’s office when it went into a 270 degree power dive and hit the opposite side of the Pentagon where accountants were looking for that missing money. They died. And now instead of $2.3 trillion missing it is $21 trillion.
Hint: There have been no hijackings of planes in America in the past few decades because of something called Uninterrupted Automatic Pilot which is used to force planes to land at the nearest US airbase.
General Wesley Clark was visiting the Pentagon in 2002 when a senior general said, “This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.”
The Office of Special Plans was devised by PNAC members to go around fact checking from the CIA so they could develop the intelligence or fabricate the evidence needed to persuade the Bush administration to go to war against Iraq citing WMDs and ties to Al Qaeda. It was disbanded in disgrace in 2003 when all of its lies were revealed.
In 2006 there was a war with Lebanon, one of the 7 nations to be attacked. It was a disaster for Israel. As early as 1919, Zionists leaders complained that Lebanon should have been included in Palestine. They wanted the Litani river which has an annual flow of 920 cubic meters. There are 264,17 US gallons in one cubic meter.
In 2011 President Obama And Secretary Hillary Clinton were able to deliver on the destruction of Libya for Israel. In the aftermath of the killing of US Consul J Christopher Stevens at Benghazi. He had been sitting on 4 warehouses of highly prized weapons with no proper safeguards. Those weapons wound up in Syria where Al Qaeda linked rebels began attacking the Syrian regime.
Robin Cook, Tony Blair’s first Foreign Affairs Secretary, said Al Qaeda which means base, was a database or list of men willing to work for the CIA, MI-6 and the Mossad. Zbigniew Brzezinski created Al Qaeda in the late 1970s during the Carter administration.
ISIS began as Al Qaeda in Iraq. Al Nusra began as Al Qaeda in Syria. The US paid these men money to gouge out the eyes of Christians and to behead them as they supported the secular Syrian government. Syria has had Christian churches that trace their origins back to 50 and 60 A.D.
Syria had supported Lebanon when it was invaded by Israel in 2006 but it was doomed as far back as 1982 when it was put on Oded Yinon’s hit list and again on Clark’s one in 2002.
In September of 2013 the US military was near revolt against US policies in Syria which favored Al Qaeda and alleged moderates, such as, the Free Syrian Army. No moderates in the FSA. One FSA officer uploaded to the web a video of him committing a random act of cannibalism. He ate a man’s heart. Martin Dempsey had to go the the White late one night before a promised air campaign against Syria. He had to explain the the military was near revolt.
In 2014 Secretary of State Kerry gave 400 trucks to Al Nusra which met specifications set forth by US Special Forces. Al Nusra gave the trucks to ISIS which used them to invade Iraq. Iraq could have stopped the invasion but the US had failed to deliver the planes the Iraqis had paid for. And President Obama refused to let the US Air Force and Navy bomb the invading ISIS forces. They wanted Iraq split into 3 sections as was the plan of Yinon back in 1982.
The corporate media did not see the turmoil in the Mideast as indicating anything worth fretting about. The ISIS mercenaries exterminated whole villages of Yazidis dumping male bodies in mass graves and taking women into slavery with the rejected women joining men in those burial spots. Over 100 mass graves were found. ISIS went on to kill Kurds and both Sunni and Shia Muslims because Israel wanted it thus. The US supplied ISIS with weapons by air drops and bombed Iraqis fighting ISIS.
Then the US used air power to protect Kurdish forces which were used to invade Syria and take their oil fields. The word Kurd means nomad in the Iranian language. Kurds are ethnic Iranians and speak a dialect of the Iranian language. They were nomads and had to expel Christian and Muslim Arabs from villages. The Christians of northwest Syria held services in Aramaic which was the language of Jesus. The corporate media did not care when they were ethnically cleansed.
Russia, Syria and Turkey have negotiated an agreement which gives a limited amount of Syrian land to Turkey. It allows Russian and Syrian forces to occupy lands as a buffer between the Kurds and the Turkish military. The Kurds have given territory they held directly to the Syrian Army. If you understand the exponential growth of the US debt, then you must realize that America will no longer be able to afford any foreign wars as soon as the early 2020s. The US was right to withdraw from Syria and ought to be leaving Afghanistan soon.
Unfortunately, fewer than 200 US troops have been left in Syria’s oil fields. The Iraqi Prime Minister wants the US troops who have entered Iraq from Syria to leave his nation forever. The US cannot occupy something as valuable as oil field with a mere 200 men. The Syrian Tiger forces could just move into the area not firing weapons at all until US soldiers were so out numbered that they will eventually have to leave.
America can no longer afford to let Israel run its foreign and military policies.
America can no longer afford wars for Israel.
America can no longer afford to let Wall Street steal money from taxpayers by the trillions.
America can no longer afford to subsidize Bankers by paying $600 billion a year in interest on money that should have been created without interest by the Treasury. That annual interest payment will soon double to $1.2 trillion a year and double again to $2.4 trillion. It could easily by $4 trillion by 2028 or 2030 at the latest.
America can no longer afford to let politicians run trillion dollar budgets without first passing requirements for accounting practices that tell us where taxpayer money is going.
