Canada's always had issues with "identity." Like most other nation states. But, not even close to what's been happening here recently. Everyone has their axe to grind & their pet peeves. Toss in that overwhelming sense of entitlement that far too many people have these days and you have a recipe for.... a fractured nation. And so it goes. It shouldn't surprise anyone, really. The divisions were really solidifying during the Harper reign. Worsened, vastly worsened, under the Trudeau government. As had been expected by yours truly. And now..... we have a mess.Initially, I'd thought Trudeau was going to win this latest selection. It can't be discounted yet. However, it's looking more like a coalition government will be cobbled together.Perhaps the Conservatives will take more votes then the Liberals, but, that crackpot Elizabeth May will drag the phony greens on board and we'll see Trudeau continue on as leader. I'm less sure about Singh's commitment in that regard. More useless gun control will come into effect as well. Either way? What ever the results?
