*Evolving viruses and bacteria will always find a way to survive. * Inevitably rendering vaccines ineffective. This reality, in my opinion, has played a role in recent whooping cough outbreaks. Not “anti vaxxers”. Au Contraire it’s just survival of living organisms. And yet again contrary to main stream media’s perception management at the time of the most recent 2019 outbreaks- almost all whooping cough patients were fully vaccinated.SciencedailyAs reported June 2019:
"The study, "Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Effectiveness Over Time," was published on June 10 in the journal Pediatrics. However, most pertussis cases were in fully vaccinated children."
Repeating “However, most pertussis cases were in fully vaccinated children”Most cases were NOT in un-vaccinated children, rather, most cases were in fully vaccinated children. Medical Express
Over time, bacteria can evolve to resist today's powerful vaccines. Bordetella pertussis—which causes pertussis, or whooping cough—is no different."One of the issues with the pertussis vaccine is that it's pushing bacterial evolution to the point that the bacteria are trying to find a way around the current protection that the vaccine provides," said Barbier, an assistant professor in the School of Medicine's Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Cell Biology."Vaccines—so far—only work as well as our immune system performs with natural infection," said Kathryn Moffett, the section chief of pediatric infectious diseases for the School of Medicine. "After recovery from whooping cough, a person is susceptible to getting the infection again in 15 years. Current protection from existing vaccines is 3 to 7—or maybe 10—years. That's not as good as natural disease.
The window of coverage for vaccines is too wide open for me, personally. 3 to 7, maybe 10 years? Pretty suggestive that vaccines are good for a few years at best. After recovery from whooping cough your immune for at least 15 years (maybe longer?)A few years of vaccine coverage vs at least 15 years of resistance after recovery from whooping cough is a substantial difference in efficacy. And most, the vast majority, of people recover from whooping cough. No spin necessary. Unless one is spinning for pharmaceutical profits?
