NFL Owner Accused of Soliciting Prostitutes Donated $100K to Anti-Sex Trafficking

Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots who stands accused of soliciting prostitutes in Florida, donated $100,000 in 2015 to My Life My Choice, a Boston-based group that serves the victims of human trafficking and child sexual exploitation, David Roth reported for Deadspin in February 2019. The investigation of human trafficking, racketeering, prostitution has garnered widespread news coverage, including stories focused on the charges against Kraft. But Roth’s Deadspin report covers an underreported angle. As Deadspin reported, Kraft’s gift was “part of a larger campaign by the New England Patriots Charitable Foundation, which gave $1.6 million to various charities related to domestic violence and sexual exploitation.”
