For years PFYT's has explained, clearly and concisely, how it was that ISIS & PKK/YPG came into Syria through Iraq- Discussing various routes etc., While claims to the otherwise were made the facts always spoke for themselvesHere's yet another passage in use since 2013:
A border crossing linking Syria's Kurdish-administered areas to Iraq's northern Kurdish region has been flooded due to heavy rains.
The Semelka crossing was shut Monday as flooding rendered two pontoon bridges across the Tigris out of order.
The crossing had been key for international journalists entering Syria to report on the U.S.-backed Syrian forces' fight in Baghouz, the last area held by Islamic State militants. The village was liberated Saturday.
The crossing opened in 2013, giving the Syrian Kurds in the country's northeast access to the outside world independent of President Bashar Assad's government. Damascus doesn't recognize the Kurdish-administered areas.
Seasonal heavy rains hit this part of Syria over the weekend, flooding roads and farms. Mosques in the town of Jawadiyah urged an evacuation, fearing the local dam would flood.
Less then two years into the destabilization- When Damascus began losing territory in the North East with an inflow of ISIS....Flashback to 2013 when the most feared ISIS leader came into Syria- from IraqWhen US backed jihadis came to steal Syrian territory so PKK could take it back and claim it as their own- Cutting Damascus out of the picture

And finally: From the Whitehouse
Donald Trump:
"I am pleased to announce that, together with our partners in the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS, including the Iraqi Security Forces and the Syrian Democratic Forces, the United States has liberated all ISIS-controlled territory in Syria and Iraq—100 Percent of the “caliphate.”
Do you recall a while back d/misinformers (Canthama and MOA) on line were claiming that Damascus and Baghdad had an agreement to allow Baghdad to bomb Syria, as needed? There are several posts here stating that was baloney. Obfuscation to cover up coalition bombing done by Iraq. One such post here:

Recall me suggesting that the claim that Damascus had allowed Baghdad to freely bomb Syria as bogus? January 03/19 :U.S. Ramps Up Bombings in Eastern Syria Following Trump Withdrawal Announcement
This news is vindication of my theory that the so called Iraqi airstrikes into Syria were taken as part of the coalition strikes. Obfuscated by the big lie, spread all over the place, of an agreement between Damascus and Baghdad. Helping to take the heat off of the US and company. That claim was so absurd it should have been dismissed out of hand. But it wasn't.
Trump thanks Iraq for ethnically cleansing Syria. I mean, fighting ISIS.
