Suspiria & The Sorcery of Surrealism – Jay Dyer Mini-Doc

#suspiria #surrealism #witchcraft The original Suspiria was a heavily occultic, color-magic themed shock horror centered around a ballet school that operated as a front for a coven of witches in Germany. The film utilizes a multitude of surrealist influences, including Escher, and others. The film’s shock value is similar to that of Hitchcock and can arguably be viewed as primarily a virtual piece. However, these principles also suggest a close connection between art and the higher spiritual dimensions and even the demonic. In this redone and remastered mini-documentary Jamie Hanshaw and I analyze the original film and a conclusion on the reboot.
