Jobs, Free Trade, and America’s Depression

Eric is featured in this week’s “Inside Out” on the issue of the outsourcing of jobs.  Eric explains how the ideology of free trade has precipitated this labor crisis, and that most Americans, especially young people, are bearing the burden of the economic crisis.  Additionally, Eric traces the root of the problem directly to the ruling class and their elected servants who are little more than representatives of capital and finance.  Highlighting a few marginalized groups, he critiques the notion that Obama’s policies are intended to do anything other than serve Wall St. and the 1%.  Eric’s segment begins at 14:30.
