Irakli Alasania’s Telephone Conversation with Senator John McCain
Telephone conversation was held between Defence Minister of Georgia Irakli Alasania and United States Senator John McCain.
Minister Alasania and Senator McCain discussed the main aspects of existing strategic cooperation between Georgia and the United States. They also touch upon the issues of Georgia’s and regional security, as well Georgia’s prospect of NATO membership.
During the telephone conversation Irakli Alasania expressed gratitude to the United States Senator for his firm support of Georgia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, democracy, security and NATO membership.
