For the past 42 years, Yellowstone grizzly bears have been protected under the Endangered Species Act. But now the U.S. Department of the Interior, citing a rebound in the bear’s population, says it will end these protections and make the states responsible for tracking the animals’ numbers again. [1]
The agency says the rule, announced on 22 June 2017, will take effect 30 days after it is published.
Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke said in a statement:
(ANTIMEDIA) A vote on whether to approve a proposal that would allow familial DNA searching in certain criminal cases has been delayed by New York state’s Forensic Science Committee. The controversial proposal has been sent back to a special subcommittee to “tighten up the language.” If approved, the new policy would allow police to investigate family members of New Yorkers whose DNA closely matches DNA found at crime scenes.

UPDATE: It’s been two days since Wyoming police shot and killed an unarmed man in front of a church after his father’s funeral and all police can say is that Jasen Scott Ramirez, 44, was wanted on drug and weapons charges.
Now, even the bishop of the St. James Catholic Church in Douglas is questioning police would shoot and kill an unarmed man while he was grieving for his father who had passed away days earlier.

The CNN anchor in the clip above told DFA executive director Charles Chamberlain to stop trying to talk about issues and just to get into the silly fight over whether what's-her-name is qualified or not, which CNN is loathe to give up on. Charles nailed it anyway by sticking to the contrast message and fending off the unrelenting CNN stupidity.
