House intelligence committee chairman Devin Nunes went on Fox News show ‘Hannity’ to provide insight on the bombshell revelation that Trump was indeed spied on by the Obama deep state.

It appears President Trump was right, again…he was “wiretapped” by the Obama deep state.
House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes told reporters outside the White house…
“I have confirmed that on numerous occasions the intelligence community incidentally collected information about US citizens involved in the Trump transition.”
Nunes noted…
“None of this surveillance was related to Russia, or the investigation of Russian activities, or of the Trump team.”
The Donald Trump – Angela Merkel had its moments.
First we had #NoHandshakeGate, where the press corp kept pushing for a handshake between the two leaders.
Second we had the Trump zinger to Obama, in reference to the wiretap scandal…where the US President, when asked about claims that British intelligence assisted the Obama administration in wiretapping Trump Tower, told German Chancellor Angela Merkel, “at least we have something in common, perhaps.”
In an exclusive interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, President Trump covered a wide array of topics including the battle over the GOP replacement plan for ObamaCare, the recent “illegal, disgraceful” leaking of his tax records to twitter and media bias.
The most interesting part of the interview, however, is at the 10:45 minute mark, where Trump addresses the now infamous “Obama wiretap” tweet, saying…
It is now almost a week since President Trump tweeted his incendiary allegation that former President Obama had had his phone bugged.
Since then there have no more leaks seeking to discredit the President or to destabilise his administration, whilst the demands for the resignation of Jeff Sessions, his Attorney General, seem to have stopped. Whether this is only a temporary respite or whether a real corner has been turned remains to be seen.

The journalists reported that there was a warrant issued for a server at Trump Tower.
The FBI investigation into the server was brief, and resulted in no evidence of collusion or communication. There was no basis for the Russia story being peddled by the Democrat party.
