Paradise police officer Patrick Feaster told investigators he never meant to shoot Andrew Thomas, possibly leaving him paralyzed for the rest of his life.
And Butte County District Attorney Mike Ramsey took Feaster’s word on it, which led to his decision not to prosecute.

Sgt. Bruce Connors, 36, who is a cop in Kissimmee, Florida left the scene after striking the car of a bartender at Lido Cabaret strip club. According to the Orlando Sentinel, he was taken off duty on Oct.30 and set on paid administrative leave. The naughty cop makes $66,000 a year.

A Miami mother caught on camera in a heated debate with a Police officer near her daughter’s school in October, just had all charges dropped on Tuesday.
Rita Guzman from Cutler Bay, Florida told CBS news that she feels “just relief” and wants to put the horrific incident behind her.
The Miami-Dade state attorney office headed by longtime prosecutor Kathleen Fernandez-Rundle published the following memo about Guzman’s case:

Ten months after the shooting death of Michigan teen Deven Guilford, the Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce shot down a parade request from community group Deven’s Voice, which attempted to include a float in Guilford’s honor in a holiday parade set to take place in Easton County.
Guilford, 17, was shot and killed earlier this year on Feb. 28 by Eaton County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Jonathan Frost after the teen flashed his high beam lights in the officer’s direction. Although Guilford was unarmed, Frost claimed self-defense as the reason for killing Guilford.
