A Northern California woman said she suffered a miscarriage after Bay Area Rapid Transit police officers forced her down on her stomach, placed a knee on her back and cuffed her hands behind her back, even after she told them she was pregnant, which violates a department policy forbidding the handcuffing of pregnant women behind their backs.

Miami Police Union Chief Javier Ortiz Reprimanded by Internal Affairs for Doxing Woman

The Miami police union president who retaliated against a woman earlier this year for pulling over a cop for speeding was reprimanded by internal affairs last week.
Miami Police Lieutenant Javier Ortiz, president of the Miami Fraternal Order of Police, was reprimanded for “discourtesy” and “improper procedure,” according to the internal affairs report completed on December 15.
When contacted for comment Tuesday afternoon, Ortiz said he was not even aware of the decision but provided the following statement:

Two California cops who shot and unarmed man earlier this year, then continued shooting him after he fell down clutching his abdomen will not face criminal charges.
Fresno police officers Raymond Camacho and Robert Chavez pulled over Dylan Noble on June 25, suspecting him of walking down the street with a rifle in his hand, even though it was obvious from their body cam footage he was not carrying a rifle.

Detroit police dragged a woman face-up off a Delta flight Monday morning in the latest viral video of police interaction with the public.
In the video, an officer drags the woman by her wrists up the carpeted aisle. At the front of the plane, a second officer grabs the passenger’s ankles and lifts her through the exit.
Delta Air Lines states the passenger was removed for failing to comply “with boarding and baggage check procedures.”

WATCH: Washington Cops Taser Naked Man Attacking Cars During “Exited Delirium” Episode

Dash cam video captured a Washington cop tasering a naked man during what they say was an “excited delirium” episode, after receiving a call about the man jumping through a window and attacking cars.
The naked man’s roommate told Bellingham police officers the suspect was “on some kind of narcotic.”
The incident took place on October 8. The video was released in November.
At around 11:50 a.m., a caller reported a man to dispatchers in his 20’s with cuts to his body, bleeding after attacking a car.

A Maryland cop who serves as a firearms instructor and was caught on video shooting an unarmed burglary suspect in the back in April was no-billed by a grand jury.
The Laurel Police Department, and the cop who has not yet been named, claim the shooting of Rawshawn Lavon Curbean was unintentional, but Curbean’s attorney Patrick Preller said, “Mr. Curbeam was unarmed, shot in the back and not posing a threat to the officer when he was shot down.”
