Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro targeted in a drone assassination attempt (Video)

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro says he has survived an assassination attempt involving explosive drones during a military event in Caracas.
Live footage of his speech shows the president suddenly looking upwards in terror as dozens of soldiers break formation and scatter.
Maduro has blamed Colombia for the attack and elements within the US of instigating “a right-wing plot” to kill him.
Maduro added that he had “no doubt” Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos was “behind this attack”.

Venezuela’s Maduro Survives Assassination Attempt, Suspects Captured

Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro has survived an apparent attack on his life during a military parade celebrating the 81st anniversary of the Bolivarian National Guard in the capital, Caracas.
In a televised national address late Saturday, Maduro said he was fine and laid blame for the attack firmly at the feet of “right-wing imperial forces” who he said had hired the would-be assassins.
