Undoubtedly, there is a policy of regime change for Venezuela which is being acted on by Washington’s neoconservative cabal – which has taken over large parts of Donald Trump’s foreign policy portfolio. In fact, Trump has openly stated that in addition to the current economic warfare which the US is waging against the South American country, that he would also considered the use of military intervention against Venezuela.

On November 1, 2018, for the twenty-seventh straight year, the full United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) voted by a near-unanimous 189-2 for “the necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba.” The Israeli government, as usual, voted automatically with the US without saying a word on the floor. There were no abstentions, but Moldova and the Ukraine chose not to vote at all.1

Venezuela Calls on UN to Break US Blockade and Supply Medical Equipment

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has requested international assistance from the United Nations (UN) and, in particular, the UN Development Program (UNDP), to “break” the US-led economic blockade against the country and help supply vital medical equipment.
His call came at a gathering of health sector leaders and activists from the Humanised Childbirth Program in Caracas Tuesday.
