There’s nothing quite like a British royal to thicken the plot of what is already looking like a movie and a score of investigative books on the way. But ‘Epstein the movie’ is a fascinating story and made even more so with the recent TV interview by Prince Andrew who believed he could fool the camera and invent a string of lies to worm his way out of culpability with the convicted sex offender and paedophile.

The last of a series of gigs I’ve been doing over the past six weeks on the road was last night.  I don’t always manage to collect my thoughts on the experience into a blog post, but I will this time.

“Don’t give up,” the fight against Brexit was the message recently expressed by outgoing EU President Donald Tusk. Tusk cannot abide the idea of anyone resisting his vision of a united Europe projecting its bureaucratic nightmare on the rest of the world.
Brexit is an affront to his very nature because it represents the free choice of people to say no to him. Tusk, like many at the top of the EU hierarchy, are ideologues. At best they were shaped by a false sense of danger about the future of Europe and the world.

Newly released pesticide usage statistics for 2018 confirm that the British people are being used as lab rats. That’s the message environmentalist Dr Rosemary Mason has sent to Dave Bench, senior scientist at the UK Chemicals, Health and Safety Executive and director of the agency’s EU exit plan. In her open letter to Bench, Mason warns that things could get much worse.
