The UK Is Sending It’s Plastic Waste To Asia, Often Illegally

The UK exported more of its plastic packaging waste abroad for recycling in 2016 than in any of the three years previously, according to a new analysis by Energydesk.
The data comes as industry insiders warn that waste sent abroad may be incinerated or buried rather than being recycled.

(REPORT) — Israel has to choose between a two-state solution in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict or an “apartheid system”, the British foreign secretary told The Jerusalem Post on Wednesday.
Boris Johnson made a quick 24-hour visit to Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories on Wednesday in which he met politicians and figures from both sides of the conflict.

British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson warned yesterday that the alternative to an Israel-Palestine two state solution is a ‘apartheid system’, whilst stressing “rock like” support for Israel. In a stop over visit to Israel, including the West Bank, Johnson said, “What we are saying is that you have to have a two-state solution or else you have a kind of apartheid system,”
