 When Pompeo claims it would be “unfortunate” if Turkey leaves NATO, I’m curious as to what the context for the use of the word ‘unfortunate’ is? What or who could make this move unfortunate?

So, much going on. I'm playing catch up.In breaking news this morning it was reported that Turkey has asked the US, again, to stop supporting YPG/PKK in Syria.

The “again” was included in the headline, because this is neither the first, second or third time that Turkey has called on the US in this regard.PKK is always included so it cannot be ignored, because it should not be ignored, that the US is cavorting, again, with known terrorists. Turkey on Saturday called on the U.S. to terminate its engagement with the terrorist group PYD/YPG in Syria.

The nearly $1 billion was essentially hush money for the sake of propaganda meant to shield the kingdom from scrutiny over its war in Yemen, which was previously described by the UN as "the world's worst humanitarian crisis" as it has pushed millions to the brink of starvation.

I had wanted to write about the most recent Istanbul summit on Syria.  But time was not on my side. Fortunately MK BHADRAKUMAR wrote an excellent oped that expresses much of what should be said and a bit more!Istanbul summit had to have gone well, because, the 5 eyes media was deriding the meetings very heavily this week end.

Since, I don't and haven't ever believed that the Kurdish proxies were fighting ISIS the claim in the Reuter's article, which will be reported on don't mean much to me. EXCEPTION? Well there is one. As has been long, long, long mentioned here. Turkey and the US are at odds over the goings on in Syria's north.Let's go back about 20 months ago. Or close to two years back.....
