Malignant Narcissism

-by Helen KleinThe term Malignant Narcissism is finding widespread usage in reference to Trump. It has been noted in recent articles in U.S. News and World Report and the Huffington Post. This term is certainly worthy of further discussion. Basically, it is an extreme mix of Narcissistic Personality Disorder with aspects such as paranoia, aggression and antisocial personality.

Howard Stern: Trumpanzees Just Want To Be Loved

Howard Stern is actually personal friends with Trump. He was reminiscing about their relationship on his radio show the other day (above) and he mentioned that he knows something about Trump. "He really does want to be loved. He does want people to really love him. That drives him a lot. I think that he has a sensitive ego. And when you're president of the United States, people are going too be very, very critical and I think in his mind right now he's saying 'Gee, I want to protect the country.

All Hail The Gaslighter-in-Chief

Thursday night-- in a bizarre Adderall-fueled rant-- Señor Trumpanzee falsely claimed his inaugural concert was the biggest success in history. Unprecedented. People wondered if he was drunk. There were about 10,000 people. Obama's inaugural concert had drawn 400,000. Trump's a compulsive liar. PolitiFact has fact checked 358 controversial statements of his.

Are The Demands Of Tribal Loyalty-- Even Over Sanity-- Destroying American Governance?

Over the course of the presidential election many non-Wisconsinites got to know conservative Milwaukee talk show host, Charlie Sykes because of all the national media attention he got for his powerful analysis of the Trump phenomenon from the right. His radio broadcasts opposing Trump are widely credited with Trump's notable primary loss in Wisconsin.

Olbermann Tries Warning Les Déplorables: "You Know This Man, You Have Always Known This Man"

"The monster you see, is the monster you will get... Elect him and you are signing the death warrant to your own freedoms. Three weeks until that election and the leaders of one party are still chained, of their own volition, to the captain of the Titanic. Three weeks until that election and their candidate has shown himself, more and more, hour by hour, day by day, to be manifestly unstable, sexually criminal, deranged, bigoted and despotic. Yet, to paraphrase Winston Churchill, these so-called leaders have been given the choice between shame and loss of office.

If You Snort A Couple Of Adderalls Does It Show Up In A Drug Test?

Much has been made of Trump's snorting and sniffling at the debates. So Saturday, Mr. Projection Man suggested that Hillary was hopped up on drugs and that they should both agree to a drug test. Great idea-- and I suggested it an hour into the first debate when he was so obviously out of his mind on something he tooted before he went out on stage.

Is He From Mars? Pence Will Have To Try To Make This Sound Normal Tonight

The other day, Keith Olbermann recorded a telling little segment about dogs and Trump. To anyone who's ever been a friend of a dog-- and who, besides Trump, hasn't been?-- it's bad enough on it's own. But when you look at it in a broader context, Trump's psychological unfitness for leadership, it becomes even more interesting.

How Do You Feel About Trump-- Or Any President-- Being Able To Launch A Nuclear First Strike Without Congressional Approval?

Congressman Ted Lieu (D-CA) is worth following on Twitter... even if you don't live in his Los Angeles area district (which stretches from Agoura Hills and Malibu in the north, through Santa Monica, Westwood, Venice and Beverly Hills and down to El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Redondo Beach and Rancho Palos Verdes in the south). He often follows live events unfolding and comments on them with an incredible depth of knowledge and wisdom (and humor) in real time, something few members of Congress are willing to do.

Would Trump's Cocaine Addiction Affect His Ability To Be President?

And you wonder why he only sleeps 3 hours a night?By the time I started working at Warner Bros Records I had long given up drugs, something I left behind with the 1960s, a dear old friend that was no longer part of my life. "Drugs," for the most part meant marijuana. Smoking weed had been an integral part of my college life and it ended there.

Trump Should Suspend His Campaign And Fly Herr Force One To Afghanistan For A Week Or Two

Tuesday I'm having dinner with a friend of mine, Sonia, a Berlin-born novelist and Holocaust survivor. She's written over 40 books and is working on a new novel about a family of refugees who have resettled in the U.S. from Afghanistan. Two of her early books, The Journey to America and Silver Days, are about German Jewish refugees who flee the horrors of the Holocaust and resettle in America.
