Representative Trey Gowdy took the IG document summary out to the woodshed on Tuesday. He had good reason to do this. Once again, the FBI tried subtly to circle the wagons around itself.
The 568 page Inspector General Report on the matter of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server to transmit and receive classified government e-mails made several noteworthy claims that showed massive problems in the investigation. However the summary document claimed that there was “no evidence of bias” in the investigation.

Paul Ryan says that no evidence exists to show that the FBI spied on Trump, except for the fact that mountains of evidence exist that the FBI sent Stefan Halper to spy on Trump associates, paving the way for an FBI FISA warrant that would lead to more FBI spying on the Trump campaign.
With friends like Paul Ryan, who needs enemies.
Make no mistake about it, Ryan is simply trying to protect the Deep State swamp that he has been a part of for so many years.

The idea of of South Carolina pinhead is being used as the arbiter of FBI fairness is pretty scary, but with Trey Gowdy, still chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, getting ready for his last few months in Congress, it appears he's been gradually shedding his extreme partisan coat.

When I read the GOP memorandum late yesterday a few hours after it was published it became immediately obvious to me why the Democrats, the Justice Department and the FBI had so strenuously resisted publishing it.

Gowdy omitted FBI agent Peter Strzok, Justice Department official Bruce Ohr, and his Fusion GPS-linked wife, Nellie, from the list of people to be grilled about the origin of the accusations of Trump collusion with Russia. This has raised questions about whether Gowdy is inept or if he is yet another political mole merely pretending to drain the swamp​. [...]
