British priest and Parliamentarian reveal conditions on the ground in Syria

Lady Caroline Cox, a member of the British House of Lords, and an Anglican priest, Rev. Andrew Ashdown, have embarked on a journey to Syria, where they surveyed the conditions in Aleppo, Homs, and Latakia to prepare a report on the conditions on the ground in the country, and what the sentiment is regarding Western intervention. Erdogan reelected to Turkish presidency in snap election

After already have served as the anatolian country’s leader for a decade and a half, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has scored another victory. His new term will witness expanded presidential powers above those which he has wielded in the past, with major governmental changes implemented following a failed 2016 coup. These elections were snap elections, held a year and half early, and Erdogan received a 52.5% ballot support from an 88% voter turnout.

Survival of Trans-Atlantic Alliance sees no guarantees

NATO head Jens Stoltenberg touted the unifying nature of the NATO Alliance in his call for a greater commitment to its mission. Stoltenberg got around to promoting this necessity because of the threats that are posed by Russia, cyber attacks, terrorism, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. But he seems to ignore the fact that many of the threats to the security of the Western order are artificial or manufactured by NATO’s primary member and benefactor, the United States of America.

Most Chinese say US should assume responsibility for migrant crisis

Over 97% of Chinese agree that the US is largely responsible for the migrant crises that have led to tens of millions of people being displaced, adding that they don’t believe that China should feel obligated to solve crises which other nations have created.
Almost all of the Chinese citizens who were polled on the matter of taking in migrants answered with the perspective that America made these messes, now they can take responsibility for them.

Israeli airstrike targets anti jihadist Iraqi forces in Syria

On Sunday evening an airstrike hit a paramilitary base in Eastern Syria, killing dozens of Iraqi fighters who were in Syria to combat Islamic State combatants. Hashed al-Shaabi fighters are allowed within Syria’s borders by the Assad government as their efforts help to cleanse the war torn Middle Eastern country of of radical terrorists.
A US official denied that the US coalition was not involved in the strike, but asserts that Israel was behind it. Israel, however, has refused to comment.

ASSAD: US and Israeli intervention prevents reconciliation in Syria (Interview)

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad revealed in a recent interview with Iranian media al-Alam TV that attempts at achieving non military resolutions to conflicts inside Syria via reconciliation is being actively prevented by intervention from Israel and the US. He is adamant that the price demanded by the Americans, that of absolute US hegemony, is one that Syria will never pay.
