(ANTIMEDIA Op-ed) — According to the Guardian, an estimated 900 U.S. troops are embedded with Syrian opposition forces that are currently within strike range of the Russian military. Over the weekend, the U.S. military claimed Russian jets had struck Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) positions in Deir ez-Zor east of the Euphrates River.
Russia has rejected claims from the United States and their Kurdish led proxy militants SDF that the Russian Aerospace Forces along with the Syrian Arab Air force targeted an SDF position in Deir ez-Zor East of the Euphrates.
The Euphrates River remains not only a vital lifeline across much of eastern Syria but also an important boundary area, which has become increasingly more important throughout the Syrian War.
Early in the war, Turkey warned they would not let any Kurds cross to the west of the Euphrates, and that this amounted to a “red line.”

The Russian Navy has launched multiple Kalibr cruise missiles at ISIS positions surrounding Deir-ez Zor city. The strikes originated from the frigate Admiral Essen.

Under its sensational title, “‘Raped below a picture of Assad’: Women describe abuse at hands of Syrian forces,” the article focused on a recently released report from a hitherto-unknown, Turkey-based NGO called Lawyers and Doctors for Human Rights (LDHR).
Now the world knows why Hezbollah is in Syria. During the last several years we have been hearing sounds from here and there (especially from Saudi Arabia and its allies) who opposed the fact that Hezbollah was participating in the war in Syria against the globalist backed terrorists. Those voices, voices of those illegally operating in Syria, viewed Syria as a small country restricted by imposed artificial borders. However, in reality, the Syrian and Lebanese borders are becoming increasingly inseparable in respect of the mutual security needs of both countries.
