Syrian Student Invents ‘Artificial Hand’

A Syrian student at Tishreen University, Ali al-Hassoun Bakeer, has invented an artificial hand. The smart “palm” is designed to operate naturally, based on the pulse of a person’s muscles.
Bakeer told SANA the invention is intended to help all people with disabilities, including wounded soldiers of the Syrian Army. Bakeer also has plans for a similar application for feet.
