Or is it the weirder Trump gets, the more Republicans say he was chosen by God. The later makes sense (only to them) as a desperate rationalization on their part. Unfortunately, we are seeing more and more of these horrific displays of foaming at the mind religious zeal that equates Trump with Jesus. To Republicans, Trump and Jesus are one and the same.
