Need I Remind You? Biden Is Less Horrible Than Trump
John Lewis developed cordial relationships with segregationists too— but, unlike Biden— he wasn’t working with them to stop school integration

In 2012, the Democrats decided to try beating Justin Amash with someone more socially conservative, an especially vile Blue Dog type (think Lipinski) named Steve Pestka. How much more conservative is Pestka? Amash isn't homophobic. Pestka is a real hater and refers to gay people in incredibly vicious ways ("fudge-packer," etc).
The Pentagon has spent billions of dollars to prevent a Russian germ warfare attack against out country. (See Season 4, episode 1 of The Americans for proof.) But Putin outsmarted them by putting a crazy anti-vaxxer behind the bully pulpit. The Soviet Union and Russia have or had 7 major biological warfare programs that we know of:
If that were still the case-- required civics classes-- more people would understand the difference between what the House does (impeachment) and what the Senate does (removal from office). They're not the same and there was never any reasonable chance that Trump would be removed by this Senate-- not even if he did take a gun out to the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone. That just speaks to the nature of the conservative movement, 2019. You'd need 2/3s of the Senators to remove Trump. Where you going to find that?
Collusion by Nancy OhanianTuesday night it leaked out that Attorney General Bill Barr and Alex Azar, Secretary of Health and Human Services both opposed Trump's decision to invalidate the Affordable Care Act, kicking over 20 million Americans off healthcare and shit-canning popular provisions like protections for people wit
For some reason I could never understand, no one on Twitter ever pointed out that Devin Nunes is a hermaphrodite. OK let that go by. But we really do need to ask ourselves if Nunes is a shameless partisan hack-- someone who abuses power and the legal process to injure his political opponents, who plays fast and loose with the truth to advance partisan goals, and who’s prone to conspiratorial thinking on the flimsiest of grounds. That either is or isn't the case.
This morning, a friend of mine shared a thought from his meditation: "If Hillary and even Trump have given their country any substantial gifts, the biggest must be making many Democrats and Independents wary and prone to scrutinize contenders before it’s too late. Perhaps an award should be presented Trump for his role in opening the Democratic Party to reform." And that-- plus Colbert's show Monday night-- brings us to...
Steve King's Iowa district is very, very rural and very, very red. The PVI is R+11 and Trump beat Hillary there 60.9% to 33.5%, significantly outpolling both McCain (50.2%) and Romney (53.4%). Usually King wins in a walk and doesn't even campaign much. This past November, though, he nearly lost, first time candidate and progressive baseball player J.D. Scholten holding him to 50.4%, his smallest win number ever. If only the DCCC hadn't decided J.D.
When Trump invited Chuck and Nancy Over to the White House so he could chop up some Adderall and snort it up, he no doubt already had in mind his frustrated drama-queen routine that would inevitably lead up to an excuse for declaring a national emergency. Yesterday Trump flew to McAllen, Texas to draw attention to new lie about a so-called "humanitarian crisis" at the southern border.
I don't have the kind of sweeping knowledge of the presidency Señor Trumpanzee pretends to have. But I can state that there has never been a president in my lifetime as profane and in the gutter as the intellectually lazy slug currently occupying the White House. Trump was a grotesque pig long before the Kremlin rallied easily-manipulatable fans of The Apprentice to elect him to office. Imagine a carefully curated compilation of, say, The Best of Trump With Howard Stern.
