A Florida cop who sped through a red traffic light, only to get t-boned by another car who had the right-of-way, was arrested Monday for blaming the other driver for the crash.
Sweetwater police officer Alejandro Ramos was off-duty but in a marked car when he claimed he first “cleared the intersection” and then “proceeded with caution” on his way to help another officer on a call.
But then a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck “came out of nowhere” and struck him that day on February 17, 2015.

South Carolina Cop Receives Probation for Shooting and Killing Unarmed Senior Citizen

 
A former South Carolina police officer pleaded guilty Monday to official misconduct in office for shooting to death an unarmed 68-year-old drunk man after a pursuit.
Justin Craven, who was a 25-year-old North Augusta police officer when he shot and killed Ernest Satterwhite, was sentenced to 80 hours of community service.
Judge Frank Addy also sentenced him to three years of probation.

NYPD Sued by Two Atlanta Hawks NBA Players Falsely Arrested Last Year Giving $20 to Homeless Man

Two Atlanta Hawks players are suing NYPD for damages pegged at up to a combined $75,000,000 for a single false arrest outside a New York nightclub last year.
It all started when one player tried to hand $20 to a homeless person after police closed the nightclub down at 4:15am.
And the NYPD beat up that player.
It knocked him out for the season too.
Hawks starting Small Foward Thabo Sefolosia, missed the end of the season and his NBA team’s run to the Eastern Conference Finals after police broke his fibula and tore ligaments in his ankle too.
