Russian MoD: Il-20 downed by Syrian missile after attacking Israel’s F-16s used it as cover

Russia has stated that it “reserves right to response” after claiming that Israel’s actions led to downing of Il-20 by Syrian S-200 missiles.
The Russian military accused their Israeli counterparts for causing the downing of a Russian Il-20 plane by the Syrian air defense forces, which were responding to an Israeli air raid on Latakia.

Eastern Economic Forum opens new chapter in US-Russia dialogue

Presidents of Russia, China, Japan and Mongolia, as well as the prime minister of South Korea all gave keynote addresses, emphasizing the vast potential of the region and the vital role of joint collaboration in its development. By the time the forum was over, a total of 175 deals worth $42 billion had been signed.
In addition to all the business deals, however, another document, a declaration, calling for the urgent expansion of citizen diplomacy in US-Russia relations, and the establishment of a continuous US-Russia youth dialogue, was also inked in Vladivostok.

Russia, China conduct MASSIVE military exercises in Siberia, and the images are incredible

Here is a look at the massive “Vostok” (meaning “East”) annual military exercise taking place in Siberia in eastern Russia this week and next. This particular run of the war games is huge, with Chinese troops participating in the drills – the first time even on Russian sovereign soil.

President Putin opened a spectacular troop review that saw Russian and Chinese armor, troops and warplanes parade through a training ground in Siberia. The parade was part of the Vostok 2018 exercise, the biggest in decades.

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping took a break from meetings on Tuesday to show off their cooking skills.
While attending an economic forum in the far eastern port of Vladivostok, Russia, Putin and Xi donned blue aprons to cook up some traditional Russian pancakes, called blini. After making a short stack, the pair ate their blini topped with caviar and washed it down with shots of vodka.
