Let's start with some news: Last week, Fox News' James Rupert Murdoch, a British billionaire, put half a million dollars into one of Nancy Jacobson's shady No Labels SuperPACs that aims to fill Congress with candidates from the Republican Wing of the Democratic Party. Their current goal is a smear campaign against Alan Grayson.
Self-described "non-practicing" Republican Nicolle Wallace sat in for Rachel Maddow Tuesday night. I kind of like her MSNBC appearances. Her guest-- at around the 1:30 point on the tape-- was ex-Republican Steve Schmidt. I like his appearances too. Just watch the clip above and you'll see why I enjoy these two so much-- especially the mouthy Schmidt, who just skewers Señor Trumpanzee like there's no tomorrow. But I have a warning for you, an important one. These are both conservatives (who not all that long ago were working to elect Sarah Palin).
How many hundreds of millions of dollars has the Koch network pumped into the Republican Party-- and continue pumping into the Republican Party ($400 million this cycle alone)? Their far-right "libertarian" ideas have become dominant inside GOP congressional circles, even if not among Republican voters. Now that Trump has taken over and is remaking the Party, the Kochs are understandably discomforted. And now...
Establishment Democrats are making a terrible mistake in moving their emphasis towards millionaires and away from the working class. The glory days of the Democratic Party was when they united working families and dominated politics-- basically from 1930, when the Democrats netted 52 House seats, making John Nance Garner Speaker.
My guess is that most of the right of center schnooks from the Republican wing of the Democratic Party are hoping Biden will run as the alternative to a Bernie/Elizabeth Warren ticket. But there are alternatives. One of the least plausible is Howard Schultz, the Starbucks guy. What a joke! And Trump's dream come true.

Patrick Murphy's papa bought him a congressional seat in the West Palm area (FL-18) in 2012. It was incredibly close but Murphy had a perfect foil-- lunatic fringe neo-fascist Allen West. Even Murphy looked almost like a lesser of two evils. Murphy's father started a PAC, American Sunrise, and financed his ne'rer-do-well son with $118,578. Sensing thew kind of DINO they love, the DCCC put in another $548,517.
This morning David Siders started a column with a fair assumption for Politico readerts-- that Maryland Congressman is "little known." Few people even know he's running for president-- and few of those are taking his run seriously.
