In 2016, Trump won Florida's 29 electoral votes by beating Hillary 4,617,886 (49.02%) to 4,504,975 (47.82), a 112,911 margin for the Orange Menace. Numerically the key to making up for that margin involves 3 things:

I'd like to think that at the end of this nightmare, there will be a national consensus about which governors were as destructive as Trump in their responses to the pandemic and that they're all tossed into a live volcano like on that Spectrum TV commercial. I'm not even talking about the governors who were slow to react before they fully understood the gravity of them problem-- like Cuomo or Newsom, each of whom learned how badly they screwed up and moved to improve.

Ask a progressive challenger to lay out a roadmap to beating a conservative incumbent and inevitably you will hear about a muscular voter registration drive. That becomes a lot trickier with a pandemic raging. But not impossible. In Arizona there are quite a few organizations that work to register people who are likely to vote for Democrats.

I was just talking with a very credible candidate for Congress about how an increasingly senile Biden could turn out to be the Democratic nominee; he-- the congressional candidate, not Status Quo Joe-- told me he almost hopes the apocalypse comes soon because he wants to pick up the pieces. Wow! And I thought I was nuts!

The latest Gallup poll concludes that Christianity is rapidly declining in the U.S.. "The religious landscape of the United States continues to change at a rapid clip.

What sounds better, "half a trillion" or "$500,000 billion?" Either way, that's how much the national debt Trump and his GOP enablers plan to leave American taxpayers jumped in the last 6 months. That's an all-time high ($21.4 trillion), complements of a fake president whose only certifiable talent is going bankrupt.
