The Environmental Working Group has submitted a letter to the US Department of Agriculture following an investigation which revealed earlier this year that scientists who submit work on neonicotinoids and the long-term effects of GMOs find their livelihoods in jeopardy, and their scientific credentials ruined.
Anonymous scientists are revealing that companies ‘such as Monsanto’ have made it very difficult for scientists to report the truth about their findings.

In a document quietly signed into law a few years ago, your right to grow your own food was surreptitiously taken away and given to the Federal government through the right of ‘seizure’ given to the Feds, by the Feds. Was this a preemptive strike to make all Americans dependent upon corporations like Monsanto, Syngenta, Dow, Bayer, etc. for food?

As the Senate moves to vote on the DARK Act legislation that could ban mandatory GMO labeling in the United States, it’s time to demand that President Obama keep his 2007 promise to label GMOs.

Statewide GMO labeling may soon become illegal in the United States if the Senate passes the ‘DARK Act,’ which is formally known as the ‘Safe and Accurate Food Labeling Act.’ We need your help to make it so this bill doesn’t become law.
The House of Representatives has already voted to pass the DARK Act, and there is little time left to sound the alarm before the Senate votes on the legislation.

Update: The DARK Act, making mandatory GMO labeling ‘illegal,’ has passed the House. It must now be voted on by the Senate, which is the last hope for defeating the bill.
