A Miami police officer admitted to seizing a man’s phone for his “safety,” but the cop never returned the phone, even after the man was released from jail and charges were quickly dropped..
Nevertheless, the department’s internal affairs division concluded there was not enough evidence to prove that Miami police officer Daniel Crocker stole the phone.

July 9, 2017, Philadelphia, PA. After spending the afternoon at a pool party, celebrating a child’s birthday, Ariel Rivera hears a commotion outside her home in the Kensington neighborhood. Miami-Dade Prosecutor Loses Landmark Right To Record Case In Federal Court

A Florida man won the right to surreptitiously record police officers while making internal affairs complaints without the threat of prosecution when he defeated the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office (SAO) in a federal appeals court ruling.
Prosecutors tried to censor the citizen, who published his incriminating recording of a police chief.

Last Week, July 3, 2017, in Arlington, Texas Latasha Nelson documented an interaction between herself and Arlington Police Officer Chad Haning. According to local media and the Next Generation Action Network this incident escalated from an unfounded accusation of auto burglary.  Officers claimed that the teen “fit the description” and the mother pleaded with the officer to let her son go because he was not who they were looking for.
