Puerto Rican Officers Suspended for Abusing Man in Wheelchair in Viral Video

Puerto Rican authorities have suspended two officers after a twitter user send them a link to a video.
The video is taken from above from a distance. The video reportedly shows a mostly vacant Walmart parking lot and zooms in on the action below.
A uniformed officer is seen grabbing a control of a man’s wheelchair and whipping him around. The officer lets go as the man attempts to stabilize his wheelchair, as the officer who does not seem to be letting up approaches to finally push him from his seat onto the ground.

North Carolina Police Smell Marijuana; Enter Home Without Warrant

A viral video shows North Carolina police enter a home without a warrant on April 8, claiming they had smelled marijuana.
The home’s residents became upset about being violated and pandemonium ensued when the officers realized they were being recorded.
Vera McGriff, who initially posted the viral video, said police came to her door and demanded to search the house.
When she refused because the officer did not present a search warrant, eight cops barged in anyway and began terrorizing the household.

A man in Georgia received a surprise when cops entered his house looking for drugs he didn’t have before he turned on his camera and began to record the illegal invasion.
It turned out, the cops were investigating a crime “at the neighbors’ house” when they stumbled into the man’s living room.

Pittsburgh Police Officer Assaults Tribune-Review Reporter Outside Trump Rally

In a volatile clash between Donald Trump supporters and protesters in Pennsylvania Wednesday, a Pittsburgh police officer was caught on video shoving a news reporter, sending her sprawling to the ground.
But even though Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto said he was concerned about the incident, the department’s police chief says he sees nothing inappropriate about the incident.

North Carolina Deputy Justified in Killing Man Asking for Search Warrant

A North Carolina grand jury chose not to indict a sheriff’s deputy who shot and killed a man after he demanded to see a warrant to search his home last year.
Harnett County sheriff’s deputies banged on John Livingston’s door last November, searching for an assault suspect who was not at the home.
Livingston demanded to see a search warrant, but the deputies had none, so Livingston shut the door in their face.

South Carolina Cop Receives Probation for Shooting and Killing Unarmed Senior Citizen

 
A former South Carolina police officer pleaded guilty Monday to official misconduct in office for shooting to death an unarmed 68-year-old drunk man after a pursuit.
Justin Craven, who was a 25-year-old North Augusta police officer when he shot and killed Ernest Satterwhite, was sentenced to 80 hours of community service.
Judge Frank Addy also sentenced him to three years of probation.

A surveillance video showing Los Angeles police officers shooting and killing a woman was released today by the lawyer for the victim’s family, who is calling for the cops to be criminally charged.
LAPD said Norma Guzman was armed with a knife, which made them fear for their lives.
Guzman, 37, was homeless, mentally ill and a known drug user, according to news reports, but those who knew her said she was harmless and was known to carry around a “bread knife.”
