A New York woman who had been arrested for driving under the influence ended up brutally attacked by several sheriff’s deputies, a surveillance video clearly shows.
But that did not stop a jury from finding her guilty of assaulting the deputies.
Nevertheless, Jennifer Merrow is suing the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, despite the fact that a conviction makes it much harder to win that lawsuit.
But as her attorney says, the video speaks for itself.

South Carolina Cop Who Shot and Killed Walter Scott Now Facing Federal Charges

Four months after he was released from jail on bond, a South Carolina cop who shot and killed a man who was running away from him, only to claim he had been charging at him, is expected to be jailed again.
But this time on federal charges.
Michael Slager, the North Charleston police officer who killed Walter Scott in 2015 in an incident captured on video by a bystander, was indicted this week by a federal grand jury on three charges.

Portland Woman Calls Cops on Man Who Assaulted Her Discovering He is a Cop

An Oregon pet sitter was walking two dogs when one of them decided to defecate on the grassy berm in front of a house, the strip of grass between the sidewalk and the street.
Juli Norman, 59, said she had already picked up the dog’s feces and placed them in a bag when a man came bursting out the door, yelling at her for allowing the dog to do its business in front of his house.
He even pointed to a sign he had planted in the grass asking to “please be respectful,” showing images of dogs peeing and defecating with a red slash through it.

Illinois cops pulled a car over for speeding, then dragged a man out of the back seat because he would not stop recording.
Dolton police then forced Steven S. Sinnot facedown on the street and handcuffed him, telling him, he should “learn how to listen.”
“I just had my hands where he could see them,” Sinnott says as he was being dragged out as you can see in the video below.
“I didn’t move or nothing. I don’t consent to no search,” he continues.
“Shut the fuck up!” said the cop named Doiley who dragged him out.

California Family Receives $3.4 Million After Deputies Beat Man to Death, Confiscated Cameras from Witnesses

Despite a coroner’s report that determined a man died of heart disease at the exact moment he was being beaten by sheriff’s deputies in California, Kern County agreed to a $3.4 million settlement with the man’s family this week.
The autopsy, however, was always questionable considering the Kern County Coroner reports to the Kern County Sheriff, whose deputies attacked David Sal Silva in a horrific beating caught on video.
Deputies also confiscated cameras from witnesses after the beating.

Florida Cop Who Knocked Phone from Disabled Veteran’s Hands Acquitted on Battery

A Florida cop who became internet famous in a viral video showing him slapping a camera out of the hands of a disabled veteran who had parked in a handicapped spot was acquitted of battery Wednesday.
But Riviera Beach Police Sergeant Garry Wilson was convicted of criminal mischief for the incident that left the veteran’s phone with a cracked screen. He was sentenced to six months probation.
The incident occurred on August 9 after Isiah James had parked his car in a handicap stop and went into Walgreens to make a purchase.

New Jersey Cop Forced Woman into Oral Sex at Police Station

A New Jersey cop was arrested for forcing a woman to perform oral sex on him inside the police station in return for favorable treatment.
The incident took place in November, but Newark Police Detective Kenneth Gaulette was not arrested until today.
Kenneth Gaulette taking an oath to defend the Constitution.
The 33-year-old cop was charged with sexual assault and criminal coercion.The victim was a 40-year-old woman.
Gaulette turned himself in today with his lawyer and was quickly released on a $75,000 bond.

Seattle Police Chief Kathleen O’Toole said police had no choice but to toss the explosives into the crowd because protesters were damaging property and attacking officers.
“The demonstrators put some innocent people in jeopardy. So we had to take action,” O’Toole said during a press conference.
Even if that meant injuring innocent people.
