Watch: PINAC Reporter Kicked Out of South Florida Council Meeting for Questioning Councilman (Updated)

UPDATE: Wednesday, August 24, 2016, 10:50 p.m.
PINAC reporter Eric McDonough was arrested Wednesday after entering the city council meeting, then being ordered to leave. He was live streaming that part, but they arrested after he had stepped into the parking lot when he had turned his camera off. It appears they are charging him with disorderly conduct, which is a contempt-of-cop charge. He is currently in jail and should be released Thursday.

Watch: New Mexico Cops Shoot and Kill Man Claiming he “Lunged” at them with Huge Knife

New Mexico cops shot and killed a man after they claimed he “lunged” at them with a knife Sunday afternoon.
But a video recorded by a witness does not really show a man lunging towards police on a median surrounded by traffic in Las Cruces.
However, the video is recorded from a distance, so I’ll let you be the judge on that.
What you will see is cops surrounding a man, then a volley of gunfire as a car drives in front of the camera, then the man is down on the ground.

GRAPHIC: LAPD Video Shows Six Cops Choking Man to Death, Then Laughing About It

Los Angeles police officers killed an unarmed man inside a city jail in 2012, claiming he was “violent and combative,” which required several cops to pounce on him, including one who placed him in a chokehold until he stopped breathing.
The incident led to the city of Los Angeles paying a $2.85 million settlement to the family of Rachel Howard in 2015, the 56-year-old man who had been arrested for driving while intoxicated before he was killed.

South Carolina Sheriff’s Department Sued by ACLU, Settles with USDOJ, for Forcing Students into “School-to-Prison” Pipeline

South Carolina school resource officers arrest more than 1,200 students a year – some as young as seven and most of them black – on the questionable charge of “disturbing schools,” prompting the ACLU to file a lawsuit last week.
The lawsuit was filed the day after the Richland County Sheriff’s Department signed an agreement with the United States Department of Justice, settling a civil rights investigation into the agency’s practice of arresting students for infractions that should be handled by school administrators.

Arizona Trooper Mistakes Rental Car for Stolen Vehicle, Points Gun at Man and 7-Year-Old Daughter Touring Grand Canyon

It all began with a stolen license plate.
And nearly ended in a nightmare.
An Arizona cop mistook a father and daughter who were traveling to the Grand Canyon on vacation for car thieves and then held them at gun point, pointing his gun at the dad and his 7-year-old daughter, leaving her traumatized and questioning if cops are the “good guys.”

Ohio Cop Caught on Video Punching Handcuffed Woman in Face

An Ohio cop was caught on video punching a handcuffed woman in the face.
The video is horrible quality but some YouTube viewers believe it shows her spitting on the cop.
Other viewers believe it shows the cop using an open hand to strike her, which they define as not a punch.
But the cop struck her hard enough to cause her to fall down. And it looks as if he balls his hand into a fist before striking her.
What the video doesn’t show is any of the officers wiping spit from their faces.

NYPD Caught on Video Repeatedly Punching Subdued Man

New York City police officers were caught on video repeatedly punching a man in the face as they pinned him to a floor splattered with blood.
The video posted to Instagram Friday shows two cops and one bystander who decided to jump in to help the cops.
As other witnesses criticize the cops for punching the suspect, the man helping the cops claims he wouldn’t get punched if only he would stop fighting.
But the man does not appear to be fighting in the 26-second video.

Chicago Police Arrest Muslim Woman Because She Was Walking at a “Brisk Pace” to Catch Train

It was the Fourth of July in 2015 and Americans were celebrating their independence from tyranny when a group of Chicago cops apprehended a Muslim woman from behind at a train station, tearing off her head scarf and veil before handcuffing and arresting her.
Chicago police claim Itemid “Angel” Al-Matar was displaying “suspicious behavior” because she was walking at “a brisk pace, in a determined manner.”
Al-Mater, who was observing Ramadan, said she was rushing to catch a train to make it home before sunset to break fast.
