Watch: Chicago Meter Maids Issue Parking Tickets Before Posting “No Parking” Signs

A Chicago resident’s surveillance video captured meter maids writing parking tickets where no signs were posted, and then putting up “no parking” signs afterwards.
“It feels like an undeserved ticket at this point. These signs were not here when I parked last night. I got home from work about 2 o’clock last night. I’m in the house all night. And I come out this morning with a ticket on my car,” Joseph Castleberry, the victim of the scam, told Fox32.

Southern California Woman Steals Drone, then Lies About It, Exposed by Drone’s Camera

A Southern California woman who prides herself on her community involvement was caught on video trying to steal a man’s drone before lying to police in claiming that it nearly killed her.
Lisa Manfredi apparently thought she was doing her good deed for the day when she picked up a remote controlled quadcopter that had crash landed in Fairview Park in Costa Mesa, then tucked it underneath her shirt as she walked away.
She also thought she was much slicker than she actually proved to be.

Missouri Cop Sentenced to Four Years in Prison for Leaving Teen in Coma for Video Recording Traffic Stop

It started off as a routine traffic stop on a high school student in a residential neighborhood in Missouri with the cop getting angry that the teen was asking questions, so he tasered him for 20 seconds, sending the 17-year-old into cardiac arrest.
Independence police officer Timothy Runnels then yanked the boy out of the car, handcuffing him before picking him up and slamming him face first into a sidewalk, leaving the boy in a coma.
Runnels later claimed he had smelled marijuana in the car.

Ohio Man Beaten and Stuffed in Closet for Four Days Awarded $22 Million

Already having been accused of murdering a prostitute, East Cleveland Police Detective Randy Hicks was drunk when he and another cop pulled Arnold Black over, accusing the 45-year-old Ohio man of possessing a kilo of cocaine because he was driving a truck similar to a known drug dealer.
When Hicks found no cocaine, he punched Black in the face two times while officer Jonathan O’Leary held him up, telling Black he was angry at having left the bar where he had been pounding drinks with friends.

Three Bakersfield police officers were caught on video brutalizing a man with their batons and tasering him because he had jaywalked before running from officers in an apparent attempt to keep from being cited Monday evening.
“Stop resisting,” the California cops kept saying as they beat him.
“He’s not resisting,” said the man recording, who sent the footage to his local news station, preferring to remain anonymous.
But police told the media the man was resisting, an action apparently only visible to the trained eyes of police officers.

Oklahoma Reserve Deputy Sentenced to Four Years in “Fuck Your Breath” Slaying

When it came down to it, the pay-for-play cop wannabe was treated nothing like a cop when it came to sentencing.
Instead of the usual probation or slap-on-the-wrist sentencing, Oklahoma reserve deputy Robert Bates was sentenced to four years in prison for shooting a man in the back while trying to taser him – the maximum allowed by law for the charge of second-degree manslaughter, according to News 9.

A video that is going viral on Facebook shows a man threatening two teens for skateboarding on a public street, which is not illegal in that area of Manchester, Vermont.
“Don’t you fucking open your mouth to me because I’ll take that fucking board and shove it up your ass, you little smart ass piece of shit,” yells the man, who has been identified as Larry Fogarazzo, who appears to be 63.

Tennessee Prison Guard Charged After Leaving Service Dog to Die in Car

A Tennessee prison guard was arrested for animal cruelty last week after leaving his service dog in the car for almost five hours with the windows rolled up and the air conditioner turned off.
Robert Strickland also left no water for Kilo, his K9 partner, as temperatures outside soared to 88 degrees, meaning that temperatures inside the vehicle reached 130 degrees – hot enough to cause hyperthermia in mammals, causing organ failure and death.
Strickland is a guard at the Hardeman County Correctional Facility, a privately owned minimum security prison outside Memphis.

VA Cops Attack 71-Year-Old Vietnam Veteran for Walking Through Metal Detector Without Showing ID

Video surfaced this Memorial Day weekend showing police officers wrapping their arms around the neck of a 71-year-old Vietnam veteran and tackling him to the ground before handcuffing him inside a Veterans Administration clinic in El Paso.
His crime: He allegedly walked through a metal detector without first showing identification while having something on (or in) him that set the alarm off.
However, Jose Oliva said he placed his identification into the bucket with the rest of his belongings that were in his pocket to be screened.

Detroit Woman Sues Cops Who Killed Her Three Dogs While Looking for Weed

A Detroit woman filed a lawsuit last week after Detroit cops serving a search warrant entered her home looking for marijuana shot and killed her three passive dogs, then turned to her and said, “I should have killed you, too.”
“They went around and killed them – like a death squad,” said Chris Olson, Smith’s attorney in an interview with the New York Daily News.
