A hot dog vendor seen in a viral video this weekend having $60 in cash seized by a California cop for trying to make some extra money selling hot dogs is getting support from online donors who’ve now contributed to over $60,000 to crowdfunding efforts set up on his behalf.
A petition to fire University of California police officer S. Aranas badge #76 has received over 33,000 signatures.

St. Johns County deputies ignored the constitution and followed orders blindly.
They arrested PINAC reporter Jeff Gray this week.

UPDATE III – March 15th, 3:30pm – Jeff Gray has been released, finally, from St. Johns County Jail.  Here is his statement
“I am out of jail and safely at home. I walked out of jail around 1pm today 3/15/16. I was treated well by SJSO Jail staff. I want to thank everybody for their support and calls to the jail. Word got back to me that the phone lines were melting.”

Cops who patrol Boston public schools want permission to carry pepper spray while on duty, insisting they need protection from violence on campuses.
Because they are not allowed to carry firearms or pepper spray, they say they are unable to defend themselves from rebellious students and trespassers, leading to injuries and time lost from work, according to The Boston Globe.
