It happened once again; someone committed the egregious sin of speaking the truth only to be vilified by establishment voices. This time around, it was Ilhan Omar, Minnesota’s freshman Representative–and a refugee from Mogadishu, Somalia–who was mauled by her own party and the media-politico complex for daring to criticize AIPAC.
Over the past two years, the #MeToo movement appears to have taken the entertainment and media industry by storm, forcing numerous resignations of male news anchors and executives accused of sexual misconduct and abuse. But few are aware of the early roots of the movement and how its recent iteration was re-appropriated by an elite super class – for the consumption of their upper middle class, and middle class fan bases.

In recent weeks Rachel Riley, a British TV celebrity, has tossed the Antisemitic slur in the direction of the Labour Party, Jeremy Corbyn, Noam Chomsky, Ken Loach, Aaron Bastani, yours truly and others.
In western politics, the political Left has traditionally seen itself as more progressive and has staked universal claim to the moral high ground on virtually all social and economic issues. But where does this veneer of moral superiority emanate from? What happens when the emotional and seemingly morally superior argument has to give way to apragmatic considerations?
The in Hollywood continues to eat itself, as the politically correct culture is now being used to protect the public images of despots and dictators – as long as the price is right.
One can only imagine what the threat, or promise of future cash was which prompted this latest censorship move by the vapid cultural gatekeepers at Netflix.
