US Senator John McCain made a dramatic return to the US Senate on Tuesday, following a diagnosis of brain cancer and having a blood clot removed from above his left eye.
McCain made the trip back to Washington from where he was receiving treatment at the elite Mayo Clinic, in order to cast a crucial vote to move forward debate on Donald Trump’s healthcare bill. The bill’s been stalled in the senate due to opposition from several Republicans and the entire Democratic caucus.

Last week The Duran reported that Senator McCain is battling an aggressive type of brain cancer.
McClatchy reports that in less than a week after announcing he has brain cancer, Sen. John McCain will return to the Senate as Republicans prepare to vote on Obamacare repeal and replacement.

Four Republican senators, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Shelly Moore Capito, and Rob Portman, broke their promise to repeal Obamacare, leaving the Republicans' 7-year long promise to repeal it dead on arrival.

McCain’s absence from the Senate has forced a delay in the vote to repeal Obamacare. Now, sources say that his recovery time may take longer than initially expected.

Why can’t we get there? The people with decision-making power lack confidence in the solution simply because doing so would require a level of understanding which they seem either incapable of or unwilling to embrace. The belief that you can legislate your goals into being has subverted the courage it would take to repeal everything that stands between us and a free market.

Obamacare regulations (i.e., price controls), like community ratings and mandating coverage of pre-existing conditions, are causing premiums to rise.
