Is there something Nestle isn't telling the public about its California water bottling operations during the historic drought?

From selling Californians their own water at high costs during the worst drought in history to donating millions to fight GMO labeling through the Grocery Manufacturer’s Association, Big Food company Nestle is becoming despised more every day. Now, the company’s latest indiscretion has gotten them in trouble with the Indian Government.
According to Credo, Nestle CEO Tim Brown was asked in a radio interview recently if the company would consider halting their water extraction from a national forest in drought-stricken California. The answer may not be what you’d expect.
Did Brown apologize for the corporation’s contribution to California’s water crisis? Nope. He doubled down and said, “Absolutely not. In fact, if I could increase it, I would.”
The US Forest Service has directly contacted Nestlé, reports Credo, where a petition was launched to stop the water-privatizing company from stealing California’s water through the ambivalence of one of the arms of the United States Departments of Agriculture.
The Forest Service told Nestlé:
That’s right, the US Forest Service has been turning their heads while a multinational corporation, whose former CEO thinks water is not a human right, and should be privatized, has been stealing our water.
Talk about being asleep at the wheel.
Nestlé has continued its water bottling practices even while California has struggled though its worst drought in history, gaining not only the negative attention of residents, but also of an enraged nation. Activists have taken the matter into their own hands, picketing the corporation that guzzles over 80 million gallons of water form Sacramento aquifers every year – only to sell that water back to the public.
The Nubian Sandstone Aquifer System is the world’s largest known fossil water aquifer system. It is located underground in the Eastern end of the Sahara Desert. Gaddafi had invested $25B into the aquifer, which he announced had the potential to turn Libya that is 95 percent desert into an arable and fertile oasis. You know how that ended.
In what I’d consider a tactically-influenced move, mega-food corporation Nestle has recently announced that it would phase out artificial flavors and colors from some of its candy bars by 2015. This move will make many consumers happy as it seemingly hits a note of health-consciousness, but a company who wants to control the world’s water supply probably isn’t driven by consumer’s desires.
It’s unfortunate, but mothers and babies who receive federally-funded WIC assistance (Women, Infants and Children Program) are usually provided with formula comprised of GMO ingredients, including GMO corn and GMO soy. Mothers who desire organic baby formula for their developing children are denied it. Are the poor relegated to carcinogenic, developmentally-altering, genetically modified food, and nothing else?
