Ever since British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson’s decision to cancel his trip to Moscow the Russian embassy in London has been enjoying itself trolling him with a succession of witty tweets.
It is not in fact difficult to see why Boris Johnson decided to cancel his visit.
The Russian Foreign Ministry and US State Department have both confirmed that Rex Tillerson is to have talks with Sergei Lavrov on the 11th and 12th of April in Moscow.
This will be Tillerson’s first visit to Moscow since becoming Secretary of State under President Trump, although Tillerson is familiar with Moscow and has previously spoken with President Putin in his capacity as a businessman.
It is not yet clear whether Tillerson will meet with Putin, though the possibility remains open.
A statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry read,
(MEE) At least nine people were killed and 20 injured in explosions in a train carriage at metro stations in St Petersburg on Monday, Russia’s national anti-terrorist committee said.
Interfax news agency quoted an unnamed source as saying the blast was caused by a bomb filled with shrapnel. Another source in Russia’s emergency services told Reuters there had been only one bomb blast.

UPDATE (4/3/2017 9:16 AM) — Russian anti-terrorism committee says it has found and deactivated a bomb at another St. Petersburg subway station.

Fake news is many things. It can be lies, half-truths, deceptions and perhaps most sinister of all, stylised deceptions.
But what many do not pay close attention to is fake news by omission. When there are important global stories that are being ignored or supressed, this is as bad or worse than the more traditional style of fake news.
With this in mind, here are five stories that the mainstream media has ignored in recent days.
1. The Meaning of Mosul
(ANTIMEDIA) Russia has had a busy month regarding its affairs in the Middle East. On March 9, Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The next day, Putin met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and on March 14, Russian Deputy Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met with Libyan General Khalifa Haftar’s envoy in Moscow.
Russian media had reported days before about a protest that was being scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Moscow’s popular Pushkin Square. Protesting and the right to assembly is of course legal in Russia, except this one was not sanctioned by the mayor’s office, and therefore illegal.
Some sections of the international media including RT, Russia’s publicly funded international TV broadcaster, are reporting today that Moscow and Russia has been hit by a “wave of protests”.

It’s called leverage, and Trump is using it to get NATO member states to pay their fair share, or get out of the alliance.
Without American money and military might NATO crumbles. Trump has made no secret of the fact that America will not continue to pay the bill for the bulk of the alliance’s budget. Each member state needs to contribute its required share as stipulated in the alliance charter.
